The 2nd grade put on a great spring concert last night! We hope all the parents enjoyed the Kazoo's!

Students from our CTE/DECA program to Ottumwa today for the University of Iowa's Design Dash competition. This event challenges students to function as entrepreneurs and business partners, developing innovative solutions to contemporary societal challenges.
The students competed against schools of varying sizes and demonstrated exceptional performance. Our students won six of the nine awards presented at the conclusion of the event. Each team was tasked with developing comprehensive proposals and delivered professional presentations to a panel of judges composed of local business professionals.
The students' success reflects positively on West Burlington High School, as well as our CTE and DECA programs.

Yesterday the West Burlington 7th graders were able to attend the SEIBA (South East Iowa Builders Association) Build My Future event at SCC. They had the opportunity to explore hands on events in construction related careers.
