UPDATE FOR THE LAST WEEK OF JUNE

The biggest thing is to remind those that have not been able to get started yet that it is not too late.  You have a month and a half to get your points and qualify for Adventure-Land.  Just come in next Tuesday, July 5th and get started.  We don't want to leave you behind.

Below you will find a list of AR's favorite authors according to readers like you.  Summer is a great time to try something new!  In my case I use it to read biographys about people I've never heard of...weird huh.

Anyway, use the list to find something of interest and get ready for a great reward this fall.

We hope all of you are having a great reading summer.

UPDATE FOR WEEK OF JUNE 13

Congratulations to those who have already begun their summer adventure of reading.  At this point a little over 40 students have taken advantage of our program.  A variety of novels have been checked out from "Cirque Du Freak" to a number of novels by Jodi Picoult.

Note 1: Remember you can get your point goal from Mrs. Yohe!

Note 2: Looking to try something different...hop into a Harlan Coben novel.  Mrs. Yohe and I are both "Cobenites" and guarantee you will like it.

Note 3: If you have a novel you would really like to read, but it doesn't have a test...see Mrs. Yohe or Mr. Reed.  We might let you create a test for it!

Keep reading!  Congratulations to our first qualified reader for our trip to Adventureland - Micah Barshinger!  She has already completed her point goal and will be enjoying some coasters, cotton candy, and fun this fall.  Who will be next to qualify for our reward trip!?!?!?!
