Rules and Expectations Contract

1. All students will be in their assigned seat with materials when the bell rings or the student will be considered tardy.

2. Follow instructions the first time they are given.

3. Raise your hand and wait for permission to speak so that there are no interruptions to the teacher or a classmate.

4. Remain seated unless you have permission to move around the room.

5. Keep your hands, feet and other objects to yourself at all times.

6. There will be no hurtful or offensive language to the teacher or classmates.

7. Always show respect to teacher and classmates. Beware of other peoples' feelings. Any deliberate disruptions of class time or inappropriate behavior will lead to demerit or direct removal from the classroom.

8. Always finish your homework and bring it back on its due date. Homework that is left in a locker, at home, in a car, etc. will not be an excuse. Problems with technology happen and are unavoidable at times.  Students should be prepared with a contingency plan.  Late work may be turned in and will only earn partial credit.

9. Always follow the Student Handbook to the best of your ability.

10. These rules and expectations are also to be followed strictly with a substitute in the classroom.
