DESCRIPTION:

Students will be able to make decisions and judgments about their present and future based upon class content that covers but is not limited to study skills, life skills, interpersonal communication skills and transitional skills

 

 

GOALS:

1.      Students will learn about life skills.

2.      Students will learn about study skills.

3.      Students will learn about interpersonal communication skills.

4.      Students will learn and apply the appropriate transitional skills needed for their unique and specific situations.

 

 

REQUIREMENTS:

Students will work on assignments that require them to work independently and in small & large groups.  Assignments may include but are not limited to worksheets, personal researching, reading, etc...

 

RESOURCES:

Other staff that may be utilized as resources are Mrs. Wilkins & Mrs. Martin or other Special Education staff members.

 

EVALUATION:

All assignments will be graded appropriately using rubric or other traditional methods when appropriate.  The grading scale is as follows:  A= 100%-90%   B= 89%-80%   C=79%-70%   D= 69%-60%   F= 59.4%>
